After falling behind by 18 in the first half, a late Georgia Bulldog rally came up short and the Dawgs fell to Mississippi State 67-61. Ricky McPhee led the late surge by Georgia. He finished with 15 points and shot 5-for-7 from 3-point range.
Georgia has now dropped their sixth straight game and have fallen to 0-4 in the SEC and 9-10 overall. The Dawgs will likely tie their record under Felton for most losses in a row (7 – 2004-05) when they visit Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators on Wednesday night (8:00 p.m. – Raycom).
