UGA tailback Knowshon Moreno was named to the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America team on Thursday. The last Georgia Bulldog running back to be named an All-American was Garrison Hearst in 1992.
Moreno, a redshirt sophomore, leads the SEC in rushing this year with 1,338 yards. He may forego his Junior and Senior seasons at the University of Georgia to enter the NFL Draft.
