Georgia Bulldogs sophomore tailback Knowshon Moreno has been named 2nd-team AP All-American. This season, Moreno has rushed for 1,395 yards (5.9 ypc) and 16 touchdowns. He has also caught 27 passes for 329 yards and 1 touchdown.
Donald Brown of Connecticut was the other running back that made the 2nd-team. The two running backs named to the AP All-American 1st-team were Shonn Greene of Iowa and Javon Ringer of Michigan State.
The last two Georgia Bulldogs to be named AP All-Americans were Max Jean-Gillis and Greg Blue in 2005.
