Bulldogs beat Volunteers 26-14

The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 26-14 on Saturday to improve to 5-1 (2-1 SEC). UGA dominated the stat sheet, but not the scoreboard. The Bulldogs racked up 458 yards of total offense (310 passing, 148 rushing) compared to only 209 for the Volunteers (208 passing, 1 rushing).

Matthew Stafford had his first 300-yard game for the Bulldogs. He completed 25-of-36 passes for 310 yards and a touchdown. He also threw 2 interceptions, giving him a total of 3 this year. Both of the interceptions led to touchdowns for the Volunteers.

Next up for Georgia is a visit from the Vanderbilt Commodores (#22 AP, #23 Coaches).
