Touted QB Aaron Murray Commits to the Georgia Bulldogs
The Georgia Bulldogs received a huge verbal commitment today from Tampa, Florida quarterback Aaron Murray. Murray, a Rivals100 and Elite 11 quarterback, was recruited to UGA by Mike Bobo and Mark Richt. As a Junior, he completed 201-of-329 passes for 4,013 yards and 51 touchdowns. Murray also rushed for 932 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Murray (6-1, 198) plays for Plant High School and is rated no. 48 overall in the Rivals100 rankings. He is rated as the 7th best QB by Rivals.com and the 8th best by Scout.com. Murray committed to the Dawgs over Florida and UCLA. He also had offers from Auburn, Boston College, Notre Dame, South Carolina and Tennessee.
