Dawgs pick up 13th commitment for 2008

Defensive end Jeremy Longo of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Cardinal Gibbons H.S.) has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. The Dawgs now have 13 commitments for 2008.

“I am now a Georgia Bulldog,” Longo told UGASports.com. “Georgia is a top of the line program and I will be playing in the SEC which is the best brand of football. The facilities are excellent and I really like the coaching staff.”

Longo (6-5, 225, 4.61) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, South Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.
