2008-09 UGA Basketball Schedule Updated: Ole Miss and Tennessee Dates Confirmed

The 2008-09 Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Schedule has been updated with confirmed dates against the Ole Miss Rebels and the Tennessee Volunteers. The Volunteers released their schedule today while the Rebels released their schedule on Tuesday.

The Hoop Dawgs will host the Volunteers on Saturday, January 10, 2009 and will play in Knoxville on Wednesday, February 11. Tennessee beat Georgia in both matchups last season.

Georgia will travel to Oxford to face Ole Miss on Saturday, February 21. The Rebels beat the Dawgs 76-62 to finish last years regular season. The Dawgs avenged that loss with an overtime victory in the first round of the SEC Tournament.

Non-conference opponents that the Bulldogs are slated to play this season include Georgia Tech, Western Kentucky and Presbyterian. The Dawgs are also playing in the 2008 NIT Season Tip-Off.
